Orthopedic Rehabilitation
Orthopedic rehabilitation is an approach to assist with a range of injuries. To recover optimally one should maintain the correct movement after injuries or procedures. Activities of daily living will improve with the correct exercises. The following conditions will fall under this rehabilitation:
- Acute and Chronic rehabilitation of neck, shoulder (arm and wrist included), back, hip, knee, ankle and foot

Chronic and Neurological Rehabilitation and Management

Hydrotherapy
Doing exercises in the water can have a lot of benefits for certain conditions. Training in water takes bodyweight away, which improves better gait. The water provides extra resistance to help with strengthening of muscles. The pressure of water can help improve swelling post operation. Balance and coordination can also improve in the water.
We make use of two different pools both heated to 34°. We have various water equipment available that makes exercise in the pool more exciting.

PGA Accredited Medical Professional (AMP)
As a qualified Accredited Medical Professional (AMP) at the PGA of SA, we can assist with Golf posture correction. We specialize in golf specific rehabilitative training programs, injury prevention and rehabilitation.
Advantages of golf:
- Good strength training
- Mentally strong
- Improves balance
- Incorporates cardiovascular exercise
Common injuries that can occur during golf:
- Wrist: Tendinitis, Overuse injuries, etc.
- Elbow: Tennis elbow, Golfer’s elbow, etc.

- Back: Back pain (Cervical, Thoracic or Lumbar), Nerve impingement, etc.
- Knee: Knee pain and damage to muscles, weakness in knees, low muscle tone, etc.

Pressure Air Biofeedback (PAB)

- Provides a comparison between left and right
- Help restore muscle balance

Wattbike Strength Test
- Various Power tests
- Test leg muscle strength and do a comparison between left and right
